Barcelona are no longer the frontrunners to sign Lionel Messi this summer after his exit from PSG was confirmed.
A move to Saudi Arabia is now more likely than the fairytale return to the Camp Nou.
Messi, 35, was already strongly linked with a PSG exit and return to Barcelona, even before he was recently suspended by the French side.

Saudi sides have already plotted a swoop for Karim Benzema to further boost their league alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi’s inclusion would boost that ten-fold again.
It was reported last year that Messi had been offered a £350m-a-year deal by Saudi side Al Hilal.
Given his Saudi promotion role for the country, Messi could combine that with a move to a Pro League side and is 8/11 to do so.
Returning to Barca isn’t too far behind at 11/8, with David Beckham’s Inter Miami in at 5/1.
Messi to NOT sign or agree a contract with any other club is then a surprise inclusion at 7/1, with a Pep Guardiola reunion at Manchester City at 12/1.
Those at bigger odds are Argentine side Newell’s Old Boys at 25/1, Chelsea and lining up with Mauricio Pochettino again at 33/1, Newcastle at 66/1 and Bayern Munich and Manchester Utd who are both 80/1.
