Bayern Munich has confirmed the signing of Bryan Zaragoza on its website. The Spaniard will play for the Rekordmeister next season onward.

Bryan Zaragoza is set to join FC Bayern from Granada for the 2024/25 season after the Bundesliga champions reached an agreement with the Spanish club for the attacker. The 22-year-old Spanish international will sign a five-year contract through to 30 June 2029.

Here is what sporting director Christoph Freund had to say about the signing:

“Bryan Zaragoza is an explosive, very quick and extremely nimble winger, who can play on either side. He’s unpredictable, can score and is very good one-on-one. He’s already made his senior debut for Spain this year and has a lot of potential. Bryan is one of Spain’s up-and-coming players and has been on our radar for a while. He’ll increase our attacking options. We wish him the best of luck for the rest of the season with Granada and look forward to him joining us in the summer.”

With reports and links surrounding Bayern Munich and Grenada winger Bryan Zaragoza emerging less than 12 hours ago, multiple sources now present that the signing has been completed and the Spaniard will be a Bayern player next season.

Despite playing for a lackluster Grenada team, Zaragoza has shown immense potential in his first season in the top flight of European football. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano had this to say about the signing:

Zaragoza had already signed his Bayern contract a few days ago. Bayern has gotten his signature thanks to new sporting director Christoph Freund, despite efforts from Brentford FC and RB Leipzig.

Zaragoza is a blend of technicality and explosiveness, he can progress the ball well. He has shown his capability when it comes to 1v1s, and his versatility across the attack is what sets him apart. There is no doubt he will be a great addition to Bayern’s attack.

The quick, fuss-less transfers seem to be a Freund trademark, who has already made his second signing after Nestroy Irankunda.
